And all men kill the thing they love,
By all let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with a kiss,
The brave man with a sword!

I'd better write a review though I could start another movie. It's a bit hot now so I opened the window just now, to let the virus out, maybe. ^_* It's midnight but I'll do what I want to make up for the time I wasted sleeping in the daytime. It's not like an ordinary late spring when some years earlier, we would have a plan for a trip to the suburb, having some fun on the way to some unclear destination. I won't have this for this year though I want so badly to trample on some grass on any deserted mountains. I miss the feeling of touching a green thing like a leaf. I've already been made to sink in the city's indifference and artificiality. I miss nature so much.

Well...I almost forget what I would've written. I've just finished Stanley Kubrick's last masterpiece Eyes Wide Shut. Yet it was not the first time I saw it. The first time...had been interrupted. I saw it carefully today and very slowly, turning back again and again to see the lines and the details. I became a little clear about the whole thing at the last moment. If life is a dangerous game, then marriage can somehow make it safer because our fantasy and curiosity will sometimes be very harmful to us. It's a desire thing again as we had discussed. Marriage is actually a saver rather than preventer. It's not like we are still young and can play around boys, there's no chance for playing in the adult world. Otherwise, it'll be very dangerous. As I've already known these days to stop playing or having any idea of a unserious, frivolous decision.

Mrs. Dalloway upsets me!
